In 2004, PLEX changed sports in South Carolina forever. Overnight, the state-of-the-art, first-of-its-kind, 86,000 square foot indoor sports mecca became the destination for sports-minded kids and their families. Soccer. Basketball. Volleyball. Inline hockey. Skateboarding. Flag football. Lacrosse. Cheerleading. In an environment that literally knows no season, the possibilities for sports, fitness and fun are seemingly limitless.
But many kids don't have access to the Columbia facility, its leagues, camps, experts and equipment. Their personal circumstances have kept them on the sidelines... until now.
This could be the turning point. They're down but not out. With your help, our community's least fortunate kids can be part of an amazing come-from-behind victory!
